Dr. Yadiera M. Brown is a top family medicine physician in New York who brings to Atria a passion for preventive and comprehensive care that’s tailored to each of her individual patients. “We are each our own puzzle,” says Dr. Brown.
A board-certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Brown is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She was most recently a Family Medicine Associate at CareMount Medical / Murray Hill Medical Group PC.
Dr. Brown has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and a Top Doctors New York Metro Area every year since 2017, and was listed as a New York Magazine Top Doctor in 2021 and 2022.

Dr. Brown graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and later earned her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
After graduating with her MD, she completed an internship in general medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan followed by a residency program in family and social medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
Following the completion of her residency training, Dr. Brown spent four years working at the Midtown Health Center in Manhattan as an attending physician. In that role, Dr. Brown engaged in direct patient care for people of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and geriatric patients.
She was also Supervisor and then Attending Physician at the center’s weekly Women’s Health clinic, where she performed cancer and cardiovascular screening, provided counseling in sexual health, and offered guidance on preventive lifestyle choices, including nutrition, exercise, drug and alcohol use, and more.
Dr. Brown then transitioned to CareMount Medical / Murray Hill Medical Group PC as a Family Medicine Associate, and was assigned a position as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine; where she spent greater than a decade sustaining her broad-scoped patient care to people of all ages.
A lifelong New Yorker, Dr. Brown loves taking a whole-person approach to practicing medicine in the city where she was born and raised.
